FIELD: nuclear power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, in particular to water supply valves, which are part of systems ensuring safety of nuclear power plants, and can be used as part of a melt localization device in severe accidents, leading to the destruction of the reactor housing and its tight shell. Water supply valve comprises starting cup (1) inserted into intermediate cup (2) and resting against intermediate cup (2) with flange thrusts (3), starting rod (4) with piston (5) installed inside starting cup (1) and intermediate cup (2) so that starting rod (4) rests with piston (5) against thermomechanical element (7), which through pressure mechanism (8) rests against protective membrane (9) fixed in end of starting cup (1), starting spring (10) installed on starting rod (4) in such a way that its one end rests against piston (5), and the other end – against flange stops (3) of starting cup (1), rolling stop (11) mounted on the end of starting rod (4) protruding from starting cup (1), flange cylinder (12), in which flange cup (13) is inserted with rod-cup (14) installed in it, in which rod (15) with thread and with slide valve (16) installed with possibility of rolling is arranged, thrust cup (17), in which thrust rod (18) with flanges (19) and working spring (20) are installed, one end of which rests against flanges (19) of thrust rod (18), and the other end rests against thrust cup (17), wherein between slide valve (16) and thrust rod (18) ball stop (21) is installed, wherein in thrust cup (17) hole (37) is made, rod element (38) is installed inside thrust cup (17), passing through said hole (37), wherein one end of rod element (38) is connected to thrust rod (18), and the other end, located outside thrust cup (17), is connected to electromagnet (43).

EFFECT: proposed valve of water supply provides for guaranteed passage of cooling water, steam-water or steam-gas mixture when exposed to high temperatures.
