FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: method for automatic control of vehicle toe-in in motion consists in continuous measurement and comparison of lateral forces acting on steered wheels, by mean of electric bridge. Bridge imbalance causes voltage supply to drive coil and it is eliminated by means of reversing mechanism of transverse steering rod working length variation. Drive acting on the spool of the distributing device is switched on in pulse mode, and after each actuation the spool of the distributing device returns to the middle position. Control action is switched off until optimum toe-in of steered wheels is achieved for the period of time of inertial adjustment depending on the mode and conditions of vehicle motion.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control over parallelism of rotation planes of steered wheels under various modes and conditions of motion.
