FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to methods of rice cultivation. Method involves ploughing of rice bay soil, sowing of seeds, flooding of the fields through water supply and discharge channels and harvesting. In water supply and discharge channels before flooding is installed filtering matrix for purification of drainage-waste water, filled with sorbent, in form of rice straw collected after harvest and impregnated with aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, in ratio of solid substance/liquid 1.0 g/2.0 ml with subsequent carbonisation into biochar with prolonged maintenance under sun rays in open air till the next crop rotation. Then, after repeated flooding of rice bay, filtering matrix is removed from channels. Spent rice straw is used as fertilizer, ploughing it during soil treatment before sowing. After harvesting, the remaining rice straw is packed into a filtering matrix and is also used as a sorbent during the next flooding of rice bay.
EFFECT: method provides increase in yield and improvement of ecological situation in environment due to exclusion of burning of rice straw after harvesting.
