FIELD: parachute equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paratroopers, to parachute shock-absorbing devices with means of object longitudinal axis orientation along the flow. Parachute shock-absorbing device comprises a parachute and an air damper with an object installed on it, on which a compressor is fixed, which is connected to the air damper by a flexible air duct. At that, object is equipped with aerodynamic element in form of soft closed shell with frame and flexible air duct, the shell communicates with compressor arranged on periphery of one of long adjacent surfaces relative to vertical axis and parallel to vertical longitudinal plane passing through its centre of mass. At that, filling of aerodynamic element shell is performed by compressor at filling of air damper.
EFFECT: wind energy in surface air layer acting on object equipped with aerodynamic element is converted into useful mechanical work on its rotation and installation by longitudinal axis along flow, providing accident-free landing.
