FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to methods of creating lift and designs of unmanned aerial vehicles. Method of cylinders rotation includes use of power housing, placement in this housing of cruise aircraft gas turbine engines, securing on the power housing lateral surfaces of coaxial cylindrical structures with rotating shells, on the side ends of which air-jet propulsors with tangential nozzles are mounted. During the flight of the aircraft, air is partially bled from the gas turbine engines compressors, controlled by the flow regulators and through the air pipelines, laid inside the coaxial cylindrical structures, is directed to air-jet propulsors with tangential nozzles fixed on side ends of rotating shells. In tangential nozzles, air is accelerated and flows out in the form of jet exhaust jets into the atmosphere, thereby creating a torque and sufficient peripheral speed to rotating shells, which is necessary for occurrence of the Magnus effect and lift at take-off and in flight of the aircraft.
EFFECT: longer flight time and payload capacity of the aircraft.
