FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to straightening and hardening of cylindrical parts from plastic metals. Upper plate with wedge section and lower plate with wedge section are used. Part straightening is performed at action of upper plate and lower plate, directed by narrow parts of their wedge sections towards each other. Bottom plate has four sections – lead-in section “А” with elevation angle, wedge straightening section “Б”, gaging section “В” and outlet section “Г”. Cylindrical part is placed on the lead-in section “A” of the lower plate with its concavity directed towards the lower plate. Upper plate is lowered down to contact with part and straightening is performed on length of lead-in section “А” of lower plate. Part is displaced to the right to lower plate straightening wedge section “Б”. Surface plastic deformation is performed along the entire length of the part to level its stress-strain state at gaging section “В” of the lower plate. Part is withdrawn from deformation zone at bottom plate outlet section “Г”.
EFFECT: elimination of part shape error.
