FIELD: metal working.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designs of chain conveyors for movement of workpieces through a processing zone. Conveyor comprises a frame of longitudinal and transverse elements, two endless vertically closed chains with holders of workpieces located in each chain with formation of seats for workpieces, chain guides with chain sprockets mounted on frame transverse elements with possibility of displacement along them, and a screw mechanism for adjusting the distance between the chains. At that, holders are made in the form of transverse plates fixed on links of chains, at the end of which faces the inter-chain space, a lodgement is formed in the form of a recess with a permanent magnet repeating the shape of the end part of the workpiece. At the conveyor outlet there are workpiece removers, which lift them from the lodgments at the section of the chains transition from the upper branch to the lower one.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase reliability of supply of workpieces and to expand technological capabilities of the conveyor.
