FIELD: safety means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a membrane safety device with a bursting disc for effective protection of plants or bench equipment from uncontrolled excess of maximum allowable pressure and ensuring industrial safety. Safety device with a bursting disc contains a safety assembly with a membrane, which is fixed by two parts made with possibility of being screwed into each other. Fixing parts are housing and sealing union, housing is a part having a cylindrical cavity with a cone-shaped projection inside for the safety assembly support. Safety assembly is located in the middle part of the housing and is an obturator made in the form of a ring with a spherical surface, and a membrane, which is tightly fixed between the spherical surface of the obturator and the cone-shaped projection inside the housing, safety assembly is fixed at connection of sealing union to housing by means of threaded connection.

EFFECT: invention improves design reliability and operational properties.
