FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to personal hygiene. Personal hygiene detergent composition contains a pyroctone compound selected from pyroctonic acid, primary, secondary and tertiary olamine salts of pyroctonic acid and mixtures thereof; detergent surfactant containing: an amphoteric surfactant selected from cocodimethylsulphopyl betaine, lauryl betaine, cocobetaine, cocamidopropyl betaine and sodium cocoamphoacetate, and an anionic surfactant consisting of an ethoxylated alkyl sulphate surfactant in which the weight ratio of the ethoxylated alkyl sulphate to the amphoteric surfactant is from 2:1 to 6:1; cationic polymer, where said cationic polymer contains polyquaternium-6. Also disclosed is a non-therapeutic method of treating hair or scalp.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved deposition of pyroctone compounds on the surface of the scalp and/or hair during washing.
