FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing high-strength rolled stock. Steel is melted containing the following, wt.%: 0.03-0.20 C, 0.09-0.75 Si, 1.1-1.95 Mn, not more than 0.01 S, not more than 0.02 P, not more than 0.7 Cr, not more than 0.15 Ni, not more than 0.4 Cu, 0.008-0.12 Al, not more than 0.09 Mo, not more than 0.015 V, not more than 0.06 Ti, 0.01-0.10 Nb, not more than 0.0015 B, not more than 0.01 Ca, not more than 0.025 N, iron and unavoidable impurities – the rest. Steel is teemed to produce a billet, austenitized, hot rolled, cooled and coiled. Obtained rolled metal is characterized by a structure containing at least 80% of ferrite and up to 20% of bainite, wherein the grain size is not more than 10 points.
EFFECT: as a result, rolled stock is obtained with yield strength of 500-650 MPa, ultimate strength of 600-720 MPa, relative elongation of not less than 22%, impact strength by KCV at -20 °C not less than 100 J/cm2, hardness not more than 245 HV, DWTT at -20 °C is not less than 85%.
