FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to mechanical devices, namely restoration of operability of metal tight lapped cylindrical joints. Method of restoring operability of metal tight lapped cylindrical joints is characterized by the fact that primary winding of power transformer (PT1), secondary winding of power transformer are connected to AC network with voltage of 220 V, 50 Hz through automatic circuit breaker (A1), said winding made by two turns of copper insulated wire with cross-section of not less than 140 mm2, for example four wires of 35 mm2. Secondary winding wire is connected by means of contacting device (D1) to fixed part of restored mechanism (RM). Second wire of secondary winding is connected by means of contacting device (D2) to movable part of restored mechanism.

EFFECT: restoration of serviceability of metal tightly lapped cylindrical joints.
