FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in operation of pneumatic tube and tubeless wheeled vehicles. Disclosed is a liquid sealant for pneumatic tires of vehicles, which is a suspension. Liquid phase of the sealant consists of a polyatomic alcohol selected from ethylene glycol and glycerine, a water-soluble organic polymer – CMC “Burovoy” glue, and water. Solid phase contains an antioxidant, aerosil, crushed expanded clay with particle size of not more than 0.5 mm, coarse rubber crumbs with particle size from 1 to 2 mm, spent alumina-chromium catalyst with particle size from 20 to 80 mcm and titanium dioxide, polydimethylsiloxane. Also disclosed is a method of producing a sealant.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides spontaneous elimination of punctures and breakdowns of tires with diameter of up to 20 mm due to improved physical and mechanical properties of the sealant.
