FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended to create an artificial barrier to stop the migration of groundwater in the soil and can be used as a protective enclosure along contaminated areas, can also be used in the formation of self-supporting walls in the development of pits of small, medium and large depth, can also be used for depth stabilization of soils. Combined working element of chain excavator contains bracket-holder of metal frame, attached to base machine, hydraulic or electric drive attached to the frame, a cutting drive chain with overhead knives arranged with a constant pitch and sequence, cutting chain drive mechanism with reduction gear with sprocket, located on the frame on the side of pipeline with water-cement or water-lime composition and tension wheel located on the frame on the opposite side of the drive. Cutting chain of the drive consists of links having different width at the points of connection to each other, at the same time the narrow part of one link enters the wide part of the other link, which are connected in pairs by means of connecting pins. Cutting elements are located on the front surface of each cast link of the drive chain and consist of fastening plates with pointed cutting plates attached to them. Cutting elements represent detachable cutter blades with different width and height of sharpened cutting plates arranged on both sides of attachment plates. At the same time in the chain the segments of knives of different width are repeated in sequence from narrow to medium and to wide, being limited in size by the maximum width of the cutting element. Narrowest knife has the maximum protruding cutting plate located in the center of the fastening plate.

EFFECT: high efficiency, low material consumption, high quality of the obtained structures in soil.
