FIELD: refrigerating or freezing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cooling method involving operation of a refrigeration cycle in which the evaporation temperature is from −75 °C to −5 °C, using a refrigerant composition containing a refrigerant and water. Coolant contains trans-1,2-difluoroethylene (HFO-1132 (E)) and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234yf), where HFO-1132 (E) is present in amount of 35.0 to 65.0 wt.%, and HFO-1234yf is present in amount of 65.0 to 35.0 wt.% based on total weight of HFO-1132 (E) and HFO-1234yf. Invention also relates to embodiments of a refrigerant composition, a method of cooling, a method of operating a refrigerating device and a refrigerating device.
EFFECT: composition has a refrigerating coefficient (RC (COP)) and a refrigerating capacity equivalent to or higher than the refrigerating coefficient and refrigerating capacity of R404A and R134a, and has a sufficiently low GWP.
