SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysical methods of well survey, in particular to nuclear magnetic logging (NML), used for survey of oil and gas wells. Device for nuclear magnetic logging comprises a downhole instrument consisting of an electronic unit with a measuring amplifier and a switching device and a probe having a main inductance coil and an additional coil. Electronic unit additionally contains a polarization current scatterer connected to the main coil through a switching device. Polarization current diffuser comprises a diode, a capacitor and a resistor. Polarization current diffuser comprises a diode and a varistor.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of free fluid index determination in reservoirs due to increased degree of wellbore signal suppression with minimum reduction of useful signal from formation, as well as increased time between repairs of the device.
