SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for processing audio data. Technical result is achieved due to the high-frequency band signal encoding stage to obtain the current frame encoding parameter, which contains sub-stages, at which: performing peak search based on the high-frequency band signal in the current frequency domain to obtain information on the peak in the current frequency domain, where information on peak in current frequency domain contains quantitative information on peak, information on location of peak and information on peak energy or information on amplitude of peaks in current frequency domain; selecting a peak in the peak information in the current frequency domain to obtain information on a possible tonal component in the current frequency domain; selecting a tonal component in the possible tonal component information in the current frequency domain to obtain information on the target tonal component in the current frequency domain; and obtaining an encoding parameter in the current frequency domain based on information on the target tonal component in the current frequency domain.
EFFECT: high quality of encoding an audio signal.
