FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: controlled three-phase rectifier with smooth adjustment of output voltage is intended for use in electrical engineering, namely in power conversion equipment. Controlled rectifier comprises a unit of power valves and a control system containing a matching device and a control device. To connect the controlled rectifier to the supply mains, input terminals of the device are used, and to connect the load, output terminals of the device are used. Possibility of operation with load of any type, which implies use of direct current energy, is implemented. Controlled rectifier performs smooth control of output voltage and, accordingly, power supplied to load from 0 to 100% of the rated value.

EFFECT: high reliability of operation of the controlled rectifier in the entire range of output voltage provided that small weight and dimensions are maintained due to use of an original system for controlling power valves.
