FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of treating grain seeds before sowing, according to which seeds are cleaned of impurities, loaded into a portion dispenser and their temperature, humidity and electric conductivity are automatically determined, then conditioned seeds are loaded into compartments of the irradiation vessel. Seeds with substandard moisture content are loaded into a perforated container and dried; after drying, the seeds are again fed into a portion batcher to determine their parameters. Information on temperature, humidity and electric conductivity is transmitted to the irradiation control unit, which automatically selects for each compartment of the vessel the intensity of the low-frequency electromagnetic field and the time of irradiation of the seeds. When irradiating seeds, the temperature is controlled, which should not exceed 30 °C. After irradiation, seeds are unloaded into perforated containers for storage or conditioning for at least 12-14 days before sowing.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining a high yield.
