FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely to heat exchangers, and can be used in rooms for high-quality heating and maintaining a given temperature by transferring heat energy to the environment from the source to the consumer through the wall of the radiator housing. Heating radiator with variable geometry consists of a section including upper and lower manifolds for passage of heat carrier, communicating with lateral branch pipes, on which heat exchange elements with flat and ribbed parts are fixed, guide elements made up of movable plates are secured on top horizontal sections of lateral branch pipes at points of abutment on manifold.
EFFECT: increasing heat emission without changing dimensions and changing the number of radiator sections.
