SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of watch industry and can be used in production of clocks with indication of time in time zones of Russia. Mechanism of the local time zone indicator is configured to select and indicate one local zone from 11 time zones of Russia on the clock face and comprises a time zone selection indicator relative to the time zone scale and a mechanism for switching it. Clock comprises the said indicator mechanism.
EFFECT: development and practical implementation of a simple design of a mechanism for indicating a local time zone, which will provide an indication of one specific time zone from 11 time zones of Russia displayed on the clock face, wherein the design takes up little space inside the watch case and, besides, reading a large amount of information by a person is facilitated by taking into account the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the person.
