SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety during operation of monorail rolling stock, namely to braking bogie for emergency stop of monorail rolling stock. Brake bogie comprises a chassis, including a frame, movable rollers and a shaft with inertial masses, connected to the housing, brake part, including brake levers with oil tanks and brake shoes pressed to the rail, hydraulic system with main spring, cylinder, wedges and relief valve, speed sensor connected to lever-signalling system. When reaching critical speed, the speed sensor transmits a signal to the lever-signal system, which opens the discharge valve, which releases fluid from the hydraulic system, as a result, the main spring is released and acts through the wedges on the brake levers, pressing the brake shoes to the vertical flange of the monorail for emergency stop of the rolling stock.

EFFECT: improvement of emergency braking device for monorail track so that emergency stop of rolling stock is as safe and sharp as possible, as well as extension of service life of all elements of monorail track, including locomotives and cars.
