FIELD: hydraulic engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, namely to water intake facilities used for water intake on sections of rivers with complex hydrological conditions and contaminated flows. Method of erection of a water intake structure includes a water-collecting gallery with a filtering water intake consisting of a metal grid and filtering flexible mattresses laid on top of it, which are made of light fascines. Water intake gallery is arranged next to the river, from which a supply channel is erected to the beginning of the water intake gallery, which is made in the form of a bioplateau stream filled with a gravel-gravel layer and planted with club-rush, reedmace, iris and other higher aquatic plants, which provide purification of river water supplied to the water intake gallery. Marking of the bottom of the end part of the supply channel, which is interfaced with the water intake gallery, is made above the mark of the surface of the filtering water intake of the water intake gallery. At the end of the water intake gallery there arranged is a water-collecting well equipped on the side with a water intake pipeline, which provides supply of purified and filtered water to a water consumer, and a water drain hole is provided on the top of the well above the flexible mattresses and on the side in the wall for discharge of excess water into the discharge channel.

EFFECT: water intake structure with a stream of bioplateau for water treatment can be effectively used on foothill and on flat sections of small rivers with complex hydrological conditions and contaminated streams.
