FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: control method, implemented in the drive speed control device, for the electric motor control during reverse rotation includes: determination by means of the drive speed control device value of mechanical power occurring at the reverse rotation speed, and the calculated load torque; determining, using the drive speed control device, a specific profile of electrical losses occurring at the level of the magnetic flux of the motor, in which the specific profile of electrical losses coincides with the value of mechanical power; determining, using the drive speed control device, a reference magnetic flux and a reference speed applied to the motor to achieve a match with a specific electrical loss profile; and controlling, by means of the drive speed control device, the speed of the reverse rotation of the motor to maintain coincidence with the specific profile of electrical losses.
EFFECT: maintaining the motor with reverse rotation in a state when electric power generated by the motor is comparable with electric power used by the drive with variable rotation, in order to reduce or even eliminate the need for energy dissipation.
