FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used to control development of oil deposits complicated by carbonate reservoirs (paleokarst). Disclosed is a method for monitoring development of an oil deposit complicated by paleokarst, which includes evaluation and integrated analysis of core material sampled during drilling, on the basis of which the main petrotypes of core samples are identified and distributed along the borehole of the well being drilled. At that, based on results of analysis of each petrotype of core samples, phase permeabilities of petrotypes are approximated and petrophysical relationships and curves of relative phase permeabilities are plotted separately for each petrotype. Process parameters of the developed deposit are continuously monitored. Complexing of obtained different-scale data is performed to clarify values of reservoir formation permeability, based on the results of which synthetic log curves of absolute permeability of the developed deposit are constructed and a hydrodynamic model of the permeability massif of the deposit is created. Possible secondary transformations are diagnosed based on results of core investigations, as well as manifestation of abnormally high values of core permeability. Probabilities of paleokarst development are determined based on these data depending on the well depth, a discrete array of paleokarst distribution zones is created, which additionally specifies the permeability array in the volume of the oil deposit. Based on the obtained data, it is recommended to carry out a complex of geological and technical measures in order to more complete development of the entire oil-saturated thickness of the productive formations of the deposit, which is complicated by paleokarst.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of permeability prediction in the deposit volume due to identification of paleokarst zones distribution, leading to increase in production of the entire oil-saturated thickness of the productive formation.
