SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices installed in window or other openings, mainly for protection from light and shading of rooms. Horizontal blinds contain fastening elements and lamellae, at that, fastening elements comprise a base, lamella holders and lamella holders drive, base is made in the form of a parallelepiped elongated plank, on the front side of which at equal distances from each other holes are made, and holders are installed between the holes using hinged joints at equal distances from each other, between the side walls of the holders in the base on its opposite sides there are rectangular cuts, from the outer elongated side of one of the side walls of the holders at the edge of the L-shaped bend there is an eye pivotally connected to the holes by the holders drive, wherein the drive of the holders is made in the form of an elongated plank with a length corresponding to the length of the base, with the possibility of providing a parallel rotation of the holders with the lamellae installed in them, rectangular cut of one of the holders can be aligned with the rectangular cut of the adjacent holder in the closed state of the blinds; besides, on one side of the base and the drive of the holders there are tenons, and on the opposite side there are grooves.
