FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine bypass engines. Method of forcing a turbojet bypass engine consists in increasing the volume of air supplied by the engine fan to both circuits, due to short-term activation of the brushless electric starter, thereby increasing the rotor speed of the turbojet engine by 5–10% for 10–30 seconds with simultaneous proportional increase in the amount of fuel supplied to the engine combustion chamber.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to temporarily increase traction characteristics during take-off of an aircraft or performing an air manoeuvre without increasing specific weight of the turbojet engine.
