FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to optical sights and provides an optical sight with a zoom lens. Optical sight with a zoom lens includes a body of the optical sight, an inner tube, a set of zoom lenses, a set of an eyepiece and a drive element. Inner tube is made in the body of the optical sight and is made with possibility of circular rotation around its central axis; axial position of the inner tube relative to the body of the optical sight is fixed; a set of zoom lenses is made in the inner tube and connected to the inner tube; inner tube, when rotated, causes the zoom lens set to move along the axial direction of the inner tube; eyepiece set is made at the end of the optical sight body closest to the side of the eye; drive element is connected between the inner tube and the eyepiece set; wherein the drive element, the eyepiece set and the inner tube support synchronous circular rotation. In the optical sight with a zoom lens according to the present invention, the eyepiece set can rotate in a circle to force the drive element and the inner tube to perform synchronous circular rotation, thereby forcing the set of zoom lenses to move along the axial direction of the inner tube and control the zoom.
EFFECT: in an optical sight with a zoom lens, such structures as a zoom pin and a zoom groove in the body of the optical sight can be removed, thereby providing structural strength of the body of the optical sight, reducing the risk of deformation and breakage of the body of the optical sight and ensuring the service life of the optical sight with a zoom lens.
