FIELD: poultry farming.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry farming and may be used for growing highly productive poultry intended for meat production. Method is as follows: one introduces into the basic diet an organic additive in the form of calcium citrate represented by a dry powdery mixture. Calcium citrate is administered to broiler chickens in dosage of 0.85% of the feed weight per day in the starting period from 7 to 28 days of age and 0.81% of the weight of the feed per day in the growth period from 29-42 days of age.

EFFECT: invention usage will allow to improve osteometric indices of broiler chickens.
