FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a weighing device, an automatic system for controlling feed of charge material into a melting furnace, in which said weighing device is used, an apparatus in which said system is used, and a method of controlling feed of a charge into a melting furnace in which said apparatus is used. Weighing device comprises a plurality of supports, each having an upper plate, a lower plate and a weighing element in contact with said two plates and located between them. At that, at least one of the above weighing elements is a column-type strain gauge. At that, each support contains two connecting elements perpendicular to each other, each of which has connecting rod connected to at least one upper housing for connection with upper plate and at least with one lower housing for connection with lower plate. Charge material feed control system comprises a weighing device according to any of the above claims, configured to weigh said furnace, its contents and each element installed in or on said furnace, wherein the supports of said plurality of supports are located between said furnace and the horizontally rotating platform; processing unit configured to control the amount of charge material supplied to said furnace based on information received from said weighing device, depending on the value of energy supplied into the furnace. Method of controlling the supply of charge material includes the following steps: determining at different points in time a plurality of weight values of said furnace, using said weighing elements; obtaining, by means of said processing unit, the value of the total energy supplied to the bath formed by the molten charge material; controlling the amount of charge material fed into said furnace by means of a conveying element of said charge material on the basis of said value of total energy and said weight values by means of said processing unit.
EFFECT: improving reliability and accuracy of measuring the weight of the furnace, optimizing the technical process of the furnace operation, increasing mechanical stability of the furnace itself at all stages of the melting cycle.
