FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used as ceiling beams and coatings of residential and public buildings. Self-stressed steel-concrete beam includes steel double-tee of solid or composite section, concrete embedment. Beam ends feature variable cross-section and are provided with wedge-like ribs with release springs. Stressed reinforcement is insulated from concrete in a non-metallic shell. Ends of flexible strained reinforcing longitudinal rods passed through holes of wedge-shaped rib are fixed on beam ends by means of tension unit.
EFFECT: thus made self-stressed steel-concrete beam has high bearing capacity, reduces material consumption for reinforcement and steel profile, has increased reliability under action of operational loads due to wedge-shaped support rib and isolated arrangement of reinforcement in non-metal shell, which provide self-regulation of stress of longitudinal reinforcement and beams.
