SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for non-invasive diagnostic imaging of equine extremity pathologies in standing position. Mobile magnet of veterinary orthopaedic MRI with controlled device of covering of process opening of false floor represents at least one movable protective cover of opening located in opening of false floor and mechanically connected to mobile magnet made with possibility of placement in process opening. At that, the movable cover is connected to the mobile magnet of the tomograph by a drive consisting of a cable, roller gears, an adjusting lanyard and a tension spring, which provides automatic overlapping of sections of the process opening, which are released during movement of the mobile magnet, without direct contact of the movable cover with the magnet.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of automatic control of the device for covering the technological opening of the false floor during movement of the mobile magnet of the veterinary orthopaedic MRI with the possibility of adjusting the speed of movement of the protective covers of the opening.
