FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: remote control combat module comprises an armoured turret mounted through a rotary shoulder strap on a combat vehicle chassis, isolated from the inner space of the combat vehicle by at least one hinged or removable hatch and including a movable gun mask with small arms and cannon weapons installed on it with its control system, a device for setting up smoke screens, optical-electronic sight equipped with a system of two-plane stabilization and guidance, television, thermal imaging and range-finding channels, and also contains on-board power supply, power distribution unit and computer. All elements of the tower equipment are connected to each other by means of mechanical and electrical connections, and are also connected through a rotating contact device by power supply circuits and electric data buses.
EFFECT: expansion of combat vehicle functional capabilities.
