FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to rocket and space engineering, in particular to separation systems of small spacecraft. Separation system comprises base with mechanical locking mechanism and rotary drum installed in the centre of locks installation circle and retained against turning by trigger device. Separation system comprises tear-off connectors containing contact pairs of dissimilar materials not subject to diffusion welding and requiring no additional force for their undocking. In one version, the system comprises an additional trigger.
EFFECT: increased reliability of actuation of separation device after long-term orbital operation.
