SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to automatic couplers. It can be used for coupling minecarts and cars both in open mining, and in underground mining works. Automatic coupling for minecarts with bottom unloading comprises case accommodating lock with large and small teeth that form chamber accommodating latch with spring interacting via groove with lever. Lock is made with local reinforcement in form of boss on outer side of larger tooth.

EFFECT: due to a more uniform distribution of stresses under working load and a reduction in the unevenness of the contact surface of automatic couplers under combined loading, increased reliability and durability are ensured.
