SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely to calibre bullet of arrow type for smooth-bore guns. Caliber bullet of a switch type for smooth-bore guns is made of a lead-containing alloy and is formed by successively installed two cylindrical bodies with different diameters, the transition between which is made in a ledge-like manner. On the outer side of the cylindrical bodies there are ribs, the size of which ensures passage of the muzzle narrowing of up to 1.25 mm. Along the central axis of the bullet there is a hole in the form of a truncated cone, the larger diameter of which is located in a cylindrical body of a smaller diameter, in the lower part of the bullet. On the larger cylindrical body of the bullet, at its end there is a bullet head made in the form of a truncated cone, at the top of which there is a through hole in the form of a cone, which gives the bullet an expansive function and at the same time is a place where the aerodynamic needle is inserted.

EFFECT: higher firing accuracy and reduced barrel lead.
