SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry, namely to means for carrying hand luggage, and can be used in bags, knapsacks, suitcases and other means of carrying hand luggage. Removable pad is sized accordingly to the size of one or more adjacent cut sections, wherein the removable pad fixing means are located along the perimeter at the edge of the borders of those cut sections, under the size of which the removable pad is made, also the means of fixing the removable pad are made hidden under the material of the removable pad in such a way that the means of fixing the removable pad will not be visible, with the possibility to put a flat object into the space between the pad and the surface of the hand luggage in the area of the cut sections.

EFFECT: providing of claimed solution are: possibility to use removable element of carry-on device as concealed pocket, possibility of protection of main elements of cabin luggage carrier against abrasion or damage due to their closure with detachable element.
