FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage circuit breaker has arc control device placed into shock-proof tight cylinder made of material resistant to products of decomposition of gas and coupled to it with sealant in the form of monolith of outer cylinder with round edges produced from tracking-resistant material of low thermal conductivity in the form of silicon-organic rubber. Bearing insulator is completely separated from space of cylinder. Manufacture of shock-proof cylinder in the form of monolith composed of two elements instead of insulator and separate cylinder provides for simplification of design, reduction of mass and dimensions.
