FIELD: substituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds. SUBSTANCE: product: 2-(1-nitro-2,3,3-trichloro-2-propenylidene)-imidazoline (I). Synthesis of new derivative of I is carried out by hydrochlorination of the corresponding imidazoline with the boiling HCl. Yield is 40%, m. p. is 128-130 C. Degree of clay slime extraction from potassium ore is 53.8% as compared with 43.8% by flotation with oxanol. New reagent can be used in mining industry. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of synthesized reagent. 1 tbl
