FIELD: training equipment. SUBSTANCE: method for control of position of weapon simulator in firing instruction includes induction by means of unit l of electromagnetic radiation whose intensity varies in time with different periods for each point of radiated space sector. Three units 2 measuring intensity are attached to simulator of weapon 3 to receive electromagnetic radiation of varied intensity from three directions not lying on one straight line. Coordinate computation unit 4 serves to compare obtained values with preset time intervals relative to three fixed directions. Comparison results are used for determination of weapon simulator position in space. EFFECT: higher accuracy in determination of weapon simulator position in space. 1 dwg
