SUBSTANCE: proposed digital flux- gate magnetometer has flux-gate comparison unit 1, generator 2, reversible counters 3 and 4, digital-to-analog converters 5 and 6, combination adder 7 and monitor 8. Insertion of analog subtraction elements 9 and 10 and NOT gates 11 and 12 reduces hardware and ensures compatibility of magnetometer with standard computers used in navigation.
