SUBSTANCE: device has casing 1 housing radiation source 2 with lamp 3, reflector 4, counterreflector 5 and power source 6 connected electrically to control unit 7, shutter 8 and lock 10 with drives 9 and 11 connected to control unit 7, diaphragm 12 and cartridge 13 with holders 26 for specimens 20 and drive 14, and mechanism 15 synchronizing displacement of lock 10 and cartridge 14 with track indicators 16. In operation, on turning lamp 3 on shaft 19 is forced to move by drive 11 on command from control unit 7. Step-by-step movement of cartridge 13 is due to rotation of ratchet-wheel 28 with concurrent turning of shutter 8 intercepting a beam of light directed to specimen 20. EFFECT: increased accuracy and test rate of device by conducting tests of specimens under lamp steady-state conditions as specimens are fed into test area one by one. 2 cl, 5 dwg
