FIELD: tire manufacturing process. SUBSTANCE: method involves effectuating injection of hose blank with outer surface perimeter corresponding to total width of first and second layers in predetermined profile of tread blank from base to corona of tread blank to be manufactured; cutting hose so that among tapes obtained, tape with width less than that of tread blank base and corresponding to predetermined width of second layer, is produced. During selection this tape is combined with tape having width corresponding to that of tread blank base, so that its edges are disposed in symmetry with other tape. EFFECT: increased efficiency of method by reduced coiling cycle. 5 dwg
