FIELD: mining engineering. SUBSTANCE: core barrel has drill string 1 with outer barrel 2 and rock breaking tool 3. Core barrel has retrievable core receiver 5 with stop unit 6, core receiver 7 and mechanical vibrator in form of two jaw half-couplings 8 and 9. Secured to unit 6 is half-coupling 8, and half-coupling 9 is spring-loaded with springs 10 and connected with core receiver 7. Attached to the latter is body 15 of piston pump with valves 16 and 17. Connected with unit 6 is pump piston 18. When rotating half-coupling 8 is connected with nonrotating half-coupling 9, their sliding takes place over inclined planes and slipping off in vertical plane. This results in longitudinal vibration of all parts of core receiver 5 and shaking up of core and cuttings inside core receiver 5 and partial elimination of core wedging. Ascending current is produced in core receiver 7 due to mutual motion of body 15 and piston 18. EFFECT: increased efficiency in elimination of core wedging. 1 dwg
