DEVICE FOR STOPPING FLASKS WITH METAL CAPS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: pharmaceutical industry; flat capping. SUBSTANCE: device for stopping bottles or flasks with metal caps has vacuum chamber 6, diaphragm 10 with rigid central part 11, upsetting head with bushing 1, toroidal spring 3 and pusher 2. Fitted on axle of device is knockout 8 driven by pneumatic cylinder mounted on cover 7. Rod 12 secured in central part 11 engages with pusher 2. Through hole is made in rod 12 and central part 11 two let pass knockout 8. With flask stopped by plug and capped it is pushed out of chamber 6 by knockout 8. Thanks to it wedging of flask 18 inside chamber 6 is precluded. Stopping of flask 18 by plug and cap in vacuum guarantees safety of content of flask 18 for long period. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of capping owing to use of cacuum. 3 dwg
