FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: pulverized coal and oxidizer are passed through fuel pipe connection 1 to combustion chamber case 1. Molten zone particles are separated on side walls of combustion chamber 1 and flow down to bottom 6 whereon they get into annular slot 7 and then evacuated through tap hole 8. Spiral projection passes slag to tap hole 8. High-temperature gases are passed from combustion chamber 1 to shell 5, and ionizing dope is supplied to top part of shell through pipe 4. Small fragments of slag dripping onto bottom 12 are separated in shell 5. These particles are trapped by special projection which directs slag flow to tap 13. Plasma is discharged through pipe connection 11. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency due to reduced dope loss. 3 cl, 4 dwg
