FIELD: tire manufacture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has working member formed as arc-shaped carriage with retaining filament spool secured to it. Base has thread feeding depression and carriage guiding slot, with depression and slot being disposed in diametrically opposed relation. Gear transmission has toothed wheels and toothed sector. Toothed wheels are mounted on base concentrically with respect to guiding slot and toothed sector is secured on carriage. Thread guide fork width is equal to height of carriage with spool. Retaining filament and reinforcing thread are tied to bead ring and toothed wheels are driven for rotation to move carriage. Reinforcing thread is fed in the form of loops and retaining filament is passed through reinforcing thread to secure it. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 6 dwg
