FIELD: chemical and mining industries. SUBSTANCE: tubular ozonizer comprises gas inlet chambers 14, 15, central gas collector 9, housing 1 with main tube plates 2 and 3 carrying external low-potential electrodes 6, and high-potential electrodes 7 inserted thereinto from both sides. Additional tube plates 4 and 5 divide the intertubular space into two isolated spaces 11 and 12 filled with coolant. Central gas collector 9 incorporates cooler 13. Oxygen-containing gas enters chambers 14 and 15 through pipes 16 and 17 and, passing through clearances between electrodes 6 and 7, is subjected to the effect of ozone-producing high-voltage electric discharge. The ozone-gas mixture flows into central gas collector 9 wherein it is cooled in cooler 13 and delivered to the using equipment through pipe 10. EFFECT: ozone output increased by reducing the velocity of its thermal decomposition. 2 cl, 1 dwg
