FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: value of reverse voltage is under control of the first and the second voltage transducers, when current passes corresponding thyristor. If value of reverse voltage is lower than limiting one, then control pulses are delayed for turning the next thyristors of electrode current adder till value of reverse voltage gets to be equal to preset value. Pulses are delayed by means of AND gate, when receiving signal form output of flip-flop. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of electrode current adder. 2 dwg
