FIELD: production of antimicrobial threads used as bandaging and stitching materials in medicine. SUBSTANCE: polycaproamide thread is treated with 0.1-7% alcohol solution of copolymer containing hentamycin or tetracycline in the amount equalling 1.0- 25.0% of polymer mass. Copolymer is used in form of copolymer ε-caprolactam with hexamethylene diammonium adipinate and hexamethylene diammonium sulfoisophthalate at ratio of 42:28:30, respectively.
