FIELD: chemistry, in particular, synthesis of anion urethane dispersions which can be employed in processing leather, impregnating fabrics and manufacturing coatings and adhesives that may find applications in various spheres of industry. SUBSTANCE: this invention allows scaling up percentage of dispersion dry residue up to 60 % and reducing its viscosity to 270 cP due to use of product resulting from reacting 1 mole of oxyalkylated xylitol having molecular mass of 670 to 1104 with 1 to 3 moles of maleic anhydride as chain elongator neutralized by triethylamine. EFFECT: higher yield of dry residue and storageability and lower viscosity. 2 tbl
